This Christmas Tree stand probably dates from the 1930's to 1950's. It is heavy steel and has an ingenious adjustable mechanism so with a twist of the wrist you can secure a small or large tree. The conical base is red, the top mechanism bare metal, and the removable legs are green. There is some rust, and plenty of paint wear, but the unit is so interesting. It is 19" wide, with the legs extended, and 6" tall. It has a handle to make adjustment easier.
