The Iron Brigade, a novel, tells the story of The Army of the Potomac, the proud, beleaguered, army which faced off against Army of Virginia, throughout the US Civil War. This ist edition, issued in September, 1902, was written by General Charles King, and published by the GW Dillingham Company. The book is 5" X 7 1/2", has 379 pages, and is bound in navy blue cloth, with red and gold lettering and decoration on the front and spine. Includes 4 black and white illustrations by RF Zogbaum. The handsome volume is in fine condition, showing very light wear on the bottom edge.
