Printed by The Bowen-Merrill Company in a limited edition of 125,000, copyright 1898, and reprinted up until October 1899. This green cloth version has an inscribed image of a castle, in dark green, gold, and white in the upper right quadrant, with the title, in gold, in the upper left quadrant.This issue is 5 1/4" X 8", with 294 pages. The spine has the title, and authors name, and a Tudor rose, in gold, with the rose's vine and foliage in dark green. The book would grade VG-F, showing little use, and light wear on the corners and spine. Has 16 black and white illustrations, one loose from binding.
