This is the Early American Pattern Glass, Souvenir, Buttons and Arches Creamer. This pattern is usually seen in the ruby stained wares. This one has the scarcer gold band, , 7/8" wide, with "Mother" etched through the gold, into the clear glass. There are a number of scratches in the gold band. The 4" tall creamer has an applied, loop handle, buttons and arches at the base, and a 6 point star, on the bottom. The glass blank, probably made by Duncan Glass, has no chips, cracks, or scratches.
