This is an extremely rare antique Victorian wicker set by Heywood Brothers and Company circa 1880's. The pieces are very ornate with elaborate designs throughout. They have fancy hand caned cameo backs . The back posts and front legs are adorned with intricate beadwork. The arms are formed with curlicues and turned wooden beads. The seats are set in cane. Two of the seats are original. The pieces are decorated with long fancy corn-row finials. One of the finials has minimal age appropriate wear. The design of this lovely wicker furniture is shapely in every way. One of the chairs is an extra large gentleman's arm chair which is very rare. The loveseat is also extremely rare. These pieces are all in excellent condition, strong and sturdy. They are very fine examples of the fine quality craftsmanship of the Heywood Brothers and Company. This very rare Victorian wicker set is museum quality and from our private collection. Circa 1880's.
