High quality 2-piece Rococo Revival Parlour Suite c. 1860, by Elijah Galusha executed in rosewood and upholstered in red damask. This is a beautiful set, intricately carved and understated. Elijah Galusha was based in Troy, NY, and his work received much acclaim, although he was not as well-known as his contemporaries specializing in Rococo Revival in New York, he did beautifully emulate the works of Alexander Roux, John Henry Belter, and JW Meeks.
