Eye-catching French flour canister, dating from circa 1930. Its school bus yellow enamel base is decorated by pale gray bands and white ribbing in relief, brick red detailing, with the word “Farine” (flour) in black outlined lettering. Its underside is trademark stamped “B.B. 12506.”
As shown in the photos this fantastic piece is simply in Near-Mint condition, with just the tiniest nicks in the recess of the trim, and a small chip on the top of the lid’s knob. The white interior is also pristine.
There is nothing to detract from the beauty of this wonderful canister. Used or just displayed, it is the right thing for adding a vibrant touch of French provincial sunshine to your kitchen.
Measurements: 7" high with lid (5¼" to the trim), and 4½" in diameter
