Pair of rare graniteware spice canister dating from the early 1900s. They are enameled in white with gold banded detailing and labeled for contents in gold gothic style lettering – in this case “Poivre” (Pepper) and “Noix-Muscade” (Nutmeg Nut).
As shown in photos, this duo shows time-earned traces of age and use but all-in-all remain in very good antique condition.
Size: 4⅞" high and 3" diameter
Note that I have four other spice canisters also available. While VERY similar in appearance, there are slight differences, (height, trims, and recessed undersides) so I am selling the pots in pairs. Nevertheless, should you wish to purchase all six spice canisters, the group price would be $195 plus $31.50 to ship. Please contact me with inquiries.
