This large vintage steel beaded purse just shimmers with its gold frame and long thick fringe. Purse is 6" wide at the top and about 11" long to the ends of the fringe. The original chain handle goes up about 6.5" from the frame. Condition is near perfect with just minimal wear such as the silk lining has disintegrated and maybe just 1-2 strands of fringe gone, but hard to tell. Has the same pretty pattern on both sides out of these tiny cut steel beads. The frame even has designs on both sides. Hinges and push button clasp work fine. The frame is marked inside with 'Pat. Oct4 1927'. What a lovely and impressive bag to display! Better in person as the photos do not do this bag justice.
