Superb 17th Century Italian Master painting, highly attributed to the Italian Master Michelangelo Merisi , also called Caravaggio( 1562-1609), With a label on the front of the frame, stating " la mort de cleopatre - school of caravaggio 1562-1609". Translated: " the death of Cleopatra - school of caravaggio-1562-1609" Directly from a French Paris' estate collection, with many antique Italian paintings.
