Superb 17th Century Italian painting by highly listed Italian Master, Museum quality
Superb 17th Century Italian Master painting, highly attributed to the Italian Master Philipp Peter Roos ( 1655-1706), also called Rosa Di Tivoli. With an old copper plaque, stating " Rosa Di Tivoli". The old plaque has been put on the new frame. The old frame was too heavy and a little broken. Directly from a French Paris' estate collection. " Fresh to the Market" Rosa Di Tivoli is a very highly listed 17th c Master, listed in all major art references and sold all over the world in the major art salerooms and art galleries. Very charming landscape, with cows, dogs, persons, etc... " Great and strong composition. dimensions: frame ( new): 14.2" x 22" ( 36 cm x 56 cm) painting: 8.1" x 15.9" ( 20.5cm x 40.5 cm) The painting is in an Original state, not cleaned or restored. It was relined in the past, most probably end of the 18th century. Sold with a full coa description and a value estimation of 15000 US$.
