Fun necklace! This is a great vintage, Middle Eastern, ethnic bohemian look! Wear this on it's own or layer it with more necklaces for a big statement. Done in traditional style, the vintage mixed metal pendant charms dangle from a black cotton woven neckpiece that closes with a button. This has 7 coordinating pendants. When you move they sound like tiny bells that softly tinkle. The necklace is accented with hand made brass metal beads and red and white glass seed beads.
Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.

I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
