This huge piece covers your chest! This vintage piece comes from Afghanistan. It features handwoven glass seedbeds in bright yellow. Mirrored accented give it glitter. Bright metallic green thread was used to embroider and hold the mirrors in place. The back of the necklace is done with fabric that the pieces are attached to. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.

I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
