This is a massive, vintage tribal, ethnic necklace! It is a traditional Kashmiri necklace featuring a lot of vintage coins bearing arabic writing. Red cut glass insets in the ornate links adds color. This is accented by two center bib pendant sections with coin pendant dangles. The pendants features a metal bow shaped pieces that are set with more red colored glass cabochon jewel pieces. Both chains are made up of multiple coins. The links between the coins also hold the glass jewels. The necklace has it's original heavy aged patina. This is one of the longer Kuchi necklaces that I have. Fabulous, old statement necklace whether you want it for your belly dancing costume or to make an amazing jewelry statement!
Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.

Please examine enlarged photos for details. This is much more beautiful in real life!
I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
