I love these vintage, Middle Eastern hoops! Looking for a unique statement for your ears? This pair is certainly that! These are old kuchi Afghan nomad earrings that have a fabulous, naturally aged patina. The earrings are big hoops that feature embossed metals and jeweled details in the hoop section.
Tons of metal dangle charms shimmy and shake. They are accented with red glass beads. The ear wire is slightly thicker than new earrings so please check the photos. Fabulous finds!
Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.
Measurement: 1.81" (45.85 mm) long
Condition: Good vintage condition, heavy vintage patina
Weight: 7.8 grams for both.
Please examine enlarged photos for details. This is much more beautiful in real life!
I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
