These are old, Middle Eastern kuchi Afghan nomad earrings that have a fabulous, naturally aged patina. Wonderful and long at over 4", these are meant to be seen! Large circle hoops support three double chains with metal balls, circle charms and red seed bead glass accents on the end. The hoop section is accented with dimensional metal and wire wrapped. It is set with glass jewels in red and green that have been worn down by th desert stand. The ear wires is a bit thicker that normal at 1.65 mm, so please check out the photos. If you want to covert these, you can also add an ear wire to the top of the hoop. Fabulous old, exotic find!
Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.

I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
