Long and dangling pair of ethnic tribal earrings that are accented with pink glass inlay. These bohemian beauties consists of mixed metals in silver shades. They have pierced ear wires that have an attached embossed pattern metal teardrop shaped piece. Next comes a dimensional medallion piece. From the bottom of that chains dangle down with a combination of little balls and charms on the end. They softly chime when you move. Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.
Please examine enlarged photos for details. Much more beautiful in real life. I lightly polish my vintage jewelry and silver as some people like the aged patina. I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
