Armond Marseille 11" 390

Here I have for your consideration an 11" Armond Marseille antique doll. She is made of a bisque head, composition & wood body.
Description: Her body is loose so she will need to be restrung. If you are just going to stand her in a doll stand she should be ok not restringing her. Her body is a bit crude. I could not take off her chamise as it is sewn on. Her torso does look good as her limbs. There are some paint chips on the wood of her legs in some areas but are covered by her leggings. Her wig, I believe is original & is sparse more so in the back. If given a more full wig she would look amazing. I have not tried to brush her wig as it looks very delicate & the skull cap is also very delicate. She has blue paperweight eyes with hand-painted eyelashes & eyebrows. I find no cracks, breaks on her head. She has four porcelain teeth in a slightly open mouth. Her eye corners & nostrils have red dots still. her lips are painted nicely.
Clothes: She wears antique clothing & shoes. She wears pantaloons that are buttoned on each side with lace around the bottom. She has a half-slip that buttons with one button. The buttonhole is torn a bit but still buttons. Her chamise is sewn on at the top. I didn't remove it as it is sewn on.
Her dress is white with pink stripes 3/4 sleeves. There is a delicate white see-through insert. The skirt of the dress has lace with a pink ribbon around the waist giving it a lovely addition. I believe the material is muslim, as it has a rougher feel than cotton. I think these may be her original clothes.
She wears on her legs cotton leggings with some open weaving. The toes on one have some damage but are covered by her shoes. The shoes are oilcloth flat tie shoes in ivory.
Even with her issues, she would make a wonderful doll in one's collection. She is not for the collector looking for perfection though.
