Here I have for your consideration two Native American Souvenir Dolls from the 1950s & 1960s. These are not for the collector that wants "perfect". The larger one is from the 1950s. She comes with her own purse that she can be carried in. Her wig could use some styling & a little bit of regluing in a couple of spots. She was very loose so I did restring her. Her brown eyes open & close with ease. I believe she may be made by the PMA (Plastic Molded Arts of New York) I have searched the web & I did come across a similar doll with a blanket carrying purse. She has no tags or markings. She is 7 1/2" tall & almost 3" across the shoulders. The googley eyed doll is about 6" tall & 2" across the shoulders. Only her arms move. Her clothes are stapled on her body. Her eyes open & close easily. Her suede band around her head has long ago come off. She has all her fingers & they are spread out with a slight bend up at the wrists. Her clothes are suede & her hair is pulled back in a low ponytail held together with a suede band. She wears a multi-colored beaded long necklace. She has no tags or markings but I think she was made by Carson dolls.
They are sweet Native American dolls that would be good for a new collector or one who doesn't mind imperfect dolls.
Please look at all the pictures as they are part of the description. Thanks for checking out my shop. Have a Blessed Day! Gail
