These Holly Yashi signed earrings date from the 1990's when I had a gift shop and sold this line. They are round in shape with an amethyst cabochon in the center of the double layer of etched metal, one gold and the other in a pretty soft medium blue. The etching is classic for that period of her designs with tiny leaves and scrolls giving them a subtle pattern and visual interest. These earrings are NOS and are on their original card which has residue of pricing and info stickers on it, but is still the original and of interest, perhaps, to a collector. Holly Yashi jewelry is made in California by a wonderfully gifted woman artist who has won numerous awards for her work. She and her husband founded the company and she is now well established as a highly collectible jewelry designer. These earrings measure 7/8” in diameter and the amethyst cab is about 7.5-8mm in diameter. They are in original condition and have their original disc backs with vinyl discs and a vermeil holder. The earrings themselves are niobium and vermeil and are signed on the back of one of them (see photos). They will come to you in a jewelry gift box for gifting or storage. Earrings like this are perfect for any occasion and almost any style of clothing from jeans and a tee to a special occasion dress. Very pretty and feminine.
