Offered is a delicately carved and pierced 1 5/8" diameter round mother-of-pearl pin with a beautifully iridescent surface with pink, green and silky white tones. The outside border is a series of openwork heart shapes while the center is a round softly facet- cut button surrounded by rows of detailed fan sections . The workmanship is quite good and this pin with its pierced sections would be lovely against a dark fabric which would show off its delicacy and quality. The pin on the back is glued in place and is made of a silvery metal and has a safety clasp. The piece is in excellent used condition with no damage or losses.
