Vintage Cerrito Poinsettia Earclips, Circa 1980's - image 1 of 9

These figural poinsettia earrings are the perfect statement for Christmas holidays! Designed by Giovanni Antonio Cerrito in the late 1970's-80's they have great details such as vivid red enamel on the petals which are a finely textured metal and botanically correct stamens in gold-toned metal. Each earring measures 1 1/4" H X 1 1/8" wide and 5/8" in depth. They are marked on the back with the copyright symbol and the name "Cerrito" are in original condition and appear to have never been worn.
The designer created his company in Rhode Island in 1977 and is no longer in the business, but his work remains for fashionable wearing many years later. These earclips are most likely goldwashed although they are not marked for metal content. They are in their original packaging with an earring card, a romance card, a flesh-colored interior flocked card and an outer four-fold textured gold card presentation folder with the words "The Symbol Of Love" and a coat of arms and the "Cerrito" name. All in all a very nice item and ready to wear for happy holidays!
