This beautiful Saks Fifty avenue bag is entirely covered in gorgeous golden glass seed beads and there is a beautiful motif of tube beads resembling languid leaves on the front.
This classic bag was manufactured by Saks Fifth Avenue, and still containing the maker's original silken tag on the interior; it reads "Saks Fifth Avenue, Made in France". The entirety of the interior is lined with luxurious dark gold satin, and features a removable hand-held mirror.
A bead-covered latch allows the stylish nesting frame to open and close easily, while a thin, articulated snake chain allows for comfortable carrying.
Though the latch is missing a number of beads, but because they are stitched to matching silk, it isn't noticeable to anyone but the wearer. The brass chain handle exhibits some minor darkening, but if you didn't know it wasn't supposed to be this color, you wouldn't even see it.
Otherwise, the rest of the bag is in very good vintage condition.
The original mirror is clean and is securely tucked away in the interior pocket.
