Here is a beautiful pair of vintage Crown Trifari earrings.
These earrings are covered in colorless rhinestones and winter-white faux pearls. They are both glamorous and elegant, but would still be great accessories with your favorite jeans.
Since its founding in 1910, the Trifari Jewelry Company has represented the utmost in quality and elegance.
As you can see, this lovely pair of earrings boasts over-the-top glamour while offering a slightly more aristocratic look.
The earrings are characterized by an elegant spiral shape, dripping with sparkly clear rhinestones and faux pearls.
There is one large marquise-shaped rhinestone, followed by three off-white faux pearls, and a few smaller, prong-set rhinestones sprinkled throughout.
The lustrous gold-tone finish of the surrounding metals complements the sparkling clear rhinestones and the glowing faux pearls beautifully.
Classic hinge clips will make these beauties comfortable to wear and simple to display.
You will find the "crown" Trifari hallmark stamped on the reverse of each clip.
This mark was first put into use in the 1940's. There is also a stamped mark which wraps around the top of the clip; it says "DESIGN PAT. PEND."
There is only a speck or two of verdigris on the back of the earrings. The metal, overall, is shiny and bright.
On the left earring, the marquis-shaped rhinestone has a very small dark spot, but generally, the earrings remain in very good vintage condition.
