This incredible vintage bracelet is a gorgeous piece of classic Taxco jewelry that you will absolutely adore.
The piece is comprised of six hinged links that articulate beautifully around the wrist and join with a simple but secure nesting box clasp.
Each sterling silver link is characterized by a bold beaded border and textural cabled accents.
It's the enormous and breathtaking chrysoprase cabochons that adorn each link that really catch the eye.
Chrysoprase is a remarkable gemstone characterized by a deep teal-green color with a high-degree of reflectivity and opacity.
Each of these stone is peaked at the center and lightly faceted. They have a wonderfully dimensional quality and a color that just makes your heart flutter.
You will find a number of impressed maker's marks on the reverse of the bracelet; the first of these reads "Iguala, 925, Hecho En Mex". "Hecho En Mexico" is Spanish for "Made in Mexico".
In the center of the hallmarks are the initials "FMB"
This mark is followed by two more which read "Sterling" and "Mexico". The bracelet has been professionally tested to ensure the purity of the silver.
The bracelet shows some expected oxidization and a few light surface scratches here and there, but remains in very good vintage condition overall.
From timeless and tailored to Bohemian chic styles, this exceptionally unique bracelet will be a new favorite in your vintage jewelry wardrobe.
