Here is a daring vintage "sweetheart" bracelet with brilliant 10 karat yellow-gold plate. This is a dainty little thing to fit a small or extra small wrist.
Soldiers would give bracelets like these to their sweethearts at the beginning of World War II as a token of their affection.
The bracelets would also remind the girls at home that their boys would be back soon.
This beauty is still nice and tight, and has great smooth finish.
As you can see, the bracelet has a nice-sized placard on the front. The placard remains blank and is just waiting for your own personal touch!
A small impressed mark on the reverse of the placard reads "10K GF".
The silver-toned interior shows a number of hallmarks which reads "Mark VII, 1/20 10K GF, U.S.A."
We are thrilled to say that this gorgeous little bracelet remains in excellent vintage condition and shows only the smallest amount of wear and darkening with a bit of immaterial scratching here and there.
This piece would make a fantastic gift.
