This dazzling vintage necklace and earrings set has all of the glamour and glitz that makes Coro jewelry some of our very favorite.
Founded in 1901, by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger, the Coro Craft Jewelry Company produced exquisite items of unique jewelry like this set well into the 20th century.
As you can see, both the necklace and earrings are characterized by the use of lots of little goldtone medallions.
Each medallion features a pierced starburst motif with a sparkling AB rhinestone in the center. The rhinestones are all original and secure in their prong-settings.
The necklace is made up of twenty of the unique and elegant medallions.
They are conjoined to the neighboring ones curb-link style and have a fantastic degree of movement and articulation.
An extender chain along with a simple hook clasp will allow you to adjust the length of the necklace with ease.
You will notice that the earrings echo the look of the necklace perfectly.
They are comprised of three goldtone medallions arranged in a shamrock-shape. These also boast all of their original AB rhinestones.
Classic hinge-clips on the reverse of each earring make them incredibly comfortable; this is where you will find impressed maker's marks which read "Coro" in slanted script. The use of this mark dates from 1955.
With only a bit of light wear and a few teeny scratches here and there, this drop-dead-gorgeous set remains in excellent vintage condition.
So high drama; wear this set with something simple and let it speak for itself.
