We are thrilled to offer this amazing vintage ring which is made of shining sterling silver and features an absolutely enormous dark forest-green jade cabochon.
As you can see, the marquise-cut jade is quite substantial, measuring 2-1/2" long.
The stone is likely a "Canada-jade" which is characterized by a rich, dark green color.
This piece is a stunning example and exhibits some extremely dark, almost black inclusions which give it an almost ethereal look.
The jade is securely embraced in a short bezel that echoes its shape beautifully.
You will notice that the ring shoulders begin as three individual bands before tapering and joining as a single, smooth band at the bottom.
Though the ring exhibits no marking it has been professionally tested to ensure the purity of the silver.
The ring shows some minor oxidization and a few equally minor surface scratches but remains in excellent vintage condition overall.
The bold, bohemian fashionista will know this beauty is a must-have!
