These unique vintage earrings have such a fun and classic look that we know you'll just adore.
Though they likely date from the early 20th century, these earrings have a great Victorian Revival style.
Each earring features a porcelain cabochon which bears the portrait of Marie Antoinette.
The porcelain is a beautiful example of "transferware".
Rather than hand-painting the delicate and minuscule decoration, tissue paper decals are transferred to the porcelain and then fired in a low-temperature kiln.
Each decal begins life as a hand-engraved copper plate which is then used to print the image on extremely thin tissue paper.
The porcelain pieces are embraced in a textural bezel which dangles from a flower shape which is accented with size brilliant white glass pearls.
Classic hinge-clips make the earrings wonderfully comfortable to wear, as well as very secure.
Though the earrings exhibit a fair amount of oxidization and some minor surface scratches here and there, they remain in good vintage condition overall.
