This lovely antique stick pin absolutely sparkles with 14 karat yellow gold-plate.
Stick pins were at their most popular during the late 1800's and have become increasingly collectible in recent years. This is a beautiful example.
The top of the pin features a smooth oblong placard which boasts a dazzling hand-engraved monogram in elegant script. The monogram reads "FHM". Correctly monogrammed, the wearer's true initials would be "HFM" as the custom is to have the first name's initials in the center.
The placard at the top of the pin is plated with 14 karat yellow gold, while the pin itself is plated in 12 karat yellow gold.
The piece has been professionally tested to ensure the gold's purity.
As you can see, the pin is "twisted" in the center for an added touch of artistry and elegance.
The pin shows some very minor darkening on the reverse and on the pin, but remains in outstanding antique condition overall.
