Here is a spectacular pair of vintage sterling silver Native American earrings.
The slightly dome-shaped earrings boast a masterfully hand-hammered design in the center.
The design is made up of a four pointed-star embellished with textural linear and scallop shapes.
As you can see, areas of the pattern are stamped at varying depths which give the overall design a wonderfully dimensional look.
Classic hinge-clips on the reverse of each earring make them secure and fabulously comfortable to wear. As the clips are not silver they show some light verdigris.
Of course, the domed, embellished parts of the earrings are all sterling silver.
One earring shows very some very light etched marks on the reverse.
These are likely maintenance marks from when the earrings were made into clips instead of post-backs.
The clips are very securely attached to the reverse of each earring.
Both earrings have been professionally tested to ensure the purity of the silver.
They show a few very light surface scratches but remain in great vintage condition overall.
These beauties are boho-chic to a tee. Wear them in summer or fall!
Measurements: Earrings are 1 1/4" in diameter and 1/4" deep (1/2" deep to backs of hinge-clips) Weight: 6.9 grams (each), 0.49 oz (total)
