This is a rare and collectible vintage Princess mask from the "High-Priest of Halloween", Ben Cooper.
Cooper costumes have become increasingly collectible of the years because they so perfectly represent the iconic look of 1950s Halloween.
This light plastic mask depicts a masked princess, complete with brilliant gold crown. The masks are prized for their vibrant colors and details.
The princess's hair is colored bright yellow with streaks of peach. The mask is cast such that the hair has a great realistic look.
There is a chi-chi mask around the eyes outlined in metallic gold with little gold and blue accents. Some of the peachy skin-tone overlaps the mask.
This beauty predates the era when masks were made with enormous eye-holes for safety; this princess has thin almond eyes.
Finally, the princess's classic crown is bright metallic gold with four blue jewels. You'll notice she wears perfectly matching earrings.
A thin black elastic cord is attached to the mask at two tiny holes near the eyes. The original cord has lost most of its elasticity but can be very easily replaced if desired.
The mask exhibits some small cracks around the edges as well as a few minor dents. Finally, the bridge of the nose exhibits a rather large vertical crack.
Overall, the mask remains in fair condition but continues to embody the great style of 1950s Halloween.
