This stunning sterling vintage brooch is an absolutely picture-perfect example of Eisenberg Original jewelry.
The Eisenberg Company started making quality clothing in the 1940s and followed with design and manufacture of sensational costume jewelry.
The Eisenberg name would soon become synonymous with glamor, exemplifying elegance with their high quality materials and sophisticated designs.
The brooch is quite substantial in both weight and size. It is rendered entirely in sterling silver with a wonderful gold vermeil finish.
As you can see, the brooch is characterized by a tall, leaf-like fan set with dazzling red and clear rhinestones on the edges.
The larger, red rhinestones vary in pear and square shapes. Each is separated by smaller, round-cut clear rhinestones.
A tall array of dimensional leaves overlaps the fan-shape and culminates at the bottom with a single, brilliant red rhinestone.
There is a classic roll-over safety brooch clasp on the reverse that makes the piece easy to wear and display.
On the reverse you will find the correct dot matrix italicized "Eisenberg" perforated stamp maker's mark for Eisenberg Originals as well as a mark reading "Sterling".
This mark corresponds to Eisenberg Original Sterling jewelry between 1943 and 1948.
While the piece shows some wear and some finish loss, it remains in good vintage condition overall.
This is truly an investment piece and the value will increase over time.
