Here are three beautiful vintage sterling silver teaspoons from the Webster Silver Company.
Perfectly simple, yet exquisitely elegant, the spoons feature a demure design. They have great substance and weight and are fully hallmarked.
The George K. Webster Silver Company was founded in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1869, and produced beautiful sterling tablewares as well as keepsake silver items like dresser sets, picture frames, baby items, napkin rings, candlesticks and more.
Each identical spoon features a flat handle with a slightly pointed tip. The bowls of the spoons are nice and broad; perfect for adding just the right amount of sugar.
The reverse of each handle exhibits stamped maker's marks, the first of which reads "Sterling" in capitals. This is followed by the traditional Webster logo (a "W" and "Co" being pierced by an arrow).
Each spoon has been professionally tested to ensure the purity of the silver. These little beauties exhibit some minor surface scratching and a teeny bit of aging. Overall, they remain in outstanding vintage condition.
Fine, sterling flatware can absolutely make a well-set table. Whether you're all about the pristine or prefer a more shabby-chic look, pretty sterling silver will bring an air of old-world elegance to your style.
