This vintage perfume bottle is so elegant and SO Art Deco.
We mean flappers drinking gin-rickeys at a Great Gatsby costume-party Deco.
Its rare quality is shown in the meticulous craftsmanship and hand-cut pattern. This beauty will look devastatingly glamorous in your powder room or on the dressing table.
Cut-glass is FAR more valuable than pressed glass as it requires a lifetime of practice and skill to perfect. This darling vintage bottle is a gorgeous example.
The substantial base features an incredibly elegant pattern of bold, linear cuts with slightly curved leaf-like cuts on the front and back.
As you can see, the stopper is just as bewitching as the base. It is quite large, comparatively, and boasts an incredible fan shape with simple leaf-cuts on the face and tiny scallops on the opposing edge.
The stopper's applicator wand is still fully intact; this is fairly unusual when it comes to such delicate glass.
We can only find one or two minuscule surface scratches on the stopper.
The interior of the bottle has been professionally cleaned, so there isn't any icky residue or odor.
Applying perfume from an elegant bottle is the stuff of movie stars.
