This is such a fun necklace. The ruby zoisite is the most amazing color mix and the thing that just "makes" this necklace.
This is a substantial necklace with the perfect weight so it hangs really well.
The green stones are raw tourmaline that I love because, not only for the color, but the crystal, faceted cut. I only found one strand on the hunt, and I have used every single piece. They are really beautiful.
The center piece is 1" across the middle, so it is a great size to accentuate the beautiful hanging stones.
The centerpiece is densely beaded sterling spiral with dozens of tiny sterling loops which create a fantastic texture. The pendant is seamlessly attached to a shining sterling chain with elegant "hammered" links.
A loop at the bottom of the spiraling centerpiece holds three strands of sterling chain, all with hand wire-wrapped beads at the bottoms.
These accents consist of silver "puffer" beads, tourmaline, and ruby zoisite.
The "puffer" beads are solid sterling silver and give added substance and weight to the necklace.
Each of the dangling strands hangs at different lengths, giving them great contrast and balance.
This piece is particularly spectacular because it has so much movement and so much tactile quality.
It is hard not to touch this necklace, just to feel its pieces move in your fingers.
I LOVE ruby zoisite. These have wonderful color variations and will match any number of outfits. It looks really great on the neck.
