This is a beautiful ring. The pictures don't do it justice. It has a wonderful personality in a beautiful setting. It also looks great on the finger.
It features beautiful, organic details and an enchanting jadeite cabochon.
As you can see, this ring has great, bold size with an incredible array of sensuous decoration.
The enormous oblong shaped cabochon at the center is a single, solid piece of mossy-green jadeite.
The stone is simultaneously embraced and accented by an array of grape-clusters and grape-leaves around the front, back, and sides.
You will notice that these are depicted with extraordinary realism and give the ring an elegant, Dionysian appeal.
Even the grape leaves are depicted with dimensional veining and texture.
Below the side facing grape clusters the shoulders remain smooth and taper to a slightly narrower lower band.
An impressed mark on the interior of the band reads "NW 14K".
The ring has been professionally tested to ensure the purity of the gold.
While the gold exhibits only some very minor wear and a few teeny flea-bite scratches, this wonderfully unique ring remains in excellent vintage condition overall.
