Love, love, love this pair of vibrant, goldtone Corocraft earrings dating from the 1960s.
As you can see, these beauties have a lot of amazing texture. We think they look a bit like sea anemones.
Each earring is characterized by dozens of branch-like arms that burst outward in all directions forming a three-dimensional dome shape.
All of these tiny goldtone branches have a twisted or "cabled" look which gives the earrings that luscious textural quality.
Six bezel-set colorless rhinestones decorate the outer edge and center of each earring while tiny blue rhinestones and turquoise-blue seed beads dance around the middle.
One earring is missing a turquoise-colored seed bead, though the reservoir has been painted a matching color so as to make this barely noticeable.
You will find an applied placard on the reverse of both earrings which reads "©Corocraft".
Simple hinge-clips will make your new earrings comfortable to wear and easy to display. A mark on the underside of each clip reads ""Pat 2809501".
The obverse side of both earrings show only a few light specks of immaterial verdigris. With little wear and the one exception of the missing tiny seed bead, these fun and fashionable earrings remain in good vintage condition.
Earrings are 1 1/8" in diameter and 7/8" deep (10 grams each)
Total Weight: 20 grams (0.7 oz)
