This is a spectacular and beautiful vintage ring dating from the 1920s and rendered in opulent 14 karat yellow gold.
The face is quite long, designed in an elegant motif and areas of open decoration.
A gorgeous diamond weighing roughly .04 carats is inset at the center of the face and surrounded by a delicate frame of white gold.
This is surrounded on the sides, top, and bottom by four white gold flowers, echoing the motif floral carved into the yellow gold.
The hallmarks on the interior of the band read "G&W" for Grosjeans and Woodward.
G&W made fine gold and sterling jewelry and noteworthy made many sterling items for the renowned Tiffany Company.
The 14K gold purity stamp follows the G&W maker's mark. and "14K", the purity of the gold.
The intricate design of this ring is so unusual.
