This gorgeous vintage Coro Craft necklace sparkles and shines with timeless style.
Founded in 1901 by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger, the Coro Craft Jewelry Company produced exquisite items of unique jewelry like this necklace well into the 20th century. This piece dates from the 1950s.
Called the Corocraft Regency necklace, this beauty is a marvel of mid-century style, design and elegance.
The curvaceous fan of baguette rhinestones at the center immediately catches the eye, sparkling brilliantly in the light.
The domed, rhinestone encrusted focal piece is framed on each side by two tapering, metallic "ribbons", the upper edges of which are embellished with dozens of round cut inset clear rhinestones.
Two articulated snake chains hold the centerpiece on either side and culminate with a simple hook and loop clasp.
An extender chain makes the necklace easily adjustable while a prong-set rhinestone hangs from the end, adding an extra touch of sparkle.
You will find a stamped mark on the reverse of the centerpiece which reads "Corocraft Des.Pat.Pend."
The necklace shows only a tiny bit of expected wear but remains in great vintage condition overall.
