Whatever your association with wings may be, I think they are beautiful. (My Oregon Duck husband thinks they come from their uniforms so I just let him think that was my inspiration....)
People buy these in the store for baptisms, weddings, graduations, new jobs, travel, you name it. (Sometimes for divorce, but if you celebrate that, then this makes sense in a freedom sort of way...)
This "wing" pendant was shaped and hammered by hand with .925 sterling silver wire. The surface is silky smooth.
The pics show a little gold because it is hard to photograph sterling, but it is brilliant, shining sterling.
It takes time and care to shape each one into the perfect "wing", making these a real labor of love.
This one is a really perfect, elegant size. It is a more abstract wing shape just to be a tad more subtle statement.
Not too big, not too small, but just right. It balances perfectly with a gorgeous, iridescent hand wire-wrapped genuine coin-pearl dangling at the bottom.
The wing pendant is suspended from a delicate sterling silver chain which joins with a modern sterling lobster-claw clasp.
These look great on the neck and have been very, very popular as gifts.
