Since the company's inception in the early 1900s, the Hobé Jewelry Company has continued to produce unique and stylish pieces of jewelry like this extraordinary necklace.
Completely Egyptian Revival style, this vintage necklace is truly fit for a queen, featuring amazing bold, brass elements.
An enormous, masterfully carved plaque rests on the chest while luxurious brass curb chains hang sumptuously around it. The plaque exhibits pierced adornments in stylized paisley shapes, a highly Egyptian motif.
The smaller, trapezoidal shape is suspended from the crescent shape with two minuscule jump rings. Each chain ends at two abstract but stylish components.
An extender chain and hook act as a simple clasp, providing the wearer with the ability to adjust the length of the necklace.
On the reverse of the crescent shape, you can see that the original, oblong placard reading "Hobé" has been applied, attesting to the item's authenticity.
It is in extraordinary condition (exhibiting only minor wear and darkening). This necklace will make a stunning addition to any well rounded collection vintage jewelry. Not only is it highly collectible, it is a timeless style so it can be worn over and over again.
This is a big, bold statement piece necklace and needs no other accessories to bring out its singular style.
