You don't get more glamorous than these uber-chic, ultra-sparkly sunglasses. The frames are a fabulous translucent bronze shade, but it's the dozens of tiny AB rhinestones that adorn the face and arms that really take the cake.
Each stone measures about 2mm in diameter; they cover the entirely of the face, temples and about 1 ¼" down the length of the arms.
Here's the best part: not a single rhinestone is missing. For sunglasses from the 1960s, this is a wonderful pair of vintage specs.
The company's original design sticker remains affixed to the interior which reads "SU 842 Lt. Bronze", though if desired it could be easily removed.
Further down the arm the maker's mark "May U.S.A." has been inscribed. Each lens remains in flawless condition, and though there is some very minor wear to the frames, these fabulous sunglasses are in excellent vintage condition.
These just scream glamour and high, movie star style. They are BEAUTIFUL on the face, and very comfortable.
Vintage sunglasses are becoming a very hot collectible. Because some have very classic styling, they never go out.
Styles cycle over and over again, so when they come back, collectors have the originals.
The detailing and accents are so unique to the era and the quality is very high compared to today's standard, even in designer brands.
