Here's a fantastic pair of vintage Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses. Timelessly cool, these shades will never, ever go out of style.
Since the company's founding in 1937, Ray-Ban has continued to make some of the world's coolest, most unique sunglasses, and these beauties take the cake!
The sunglasses are rendered in a play on the classic horn rimmed look a fantastic faux tortoiseshell finish in rich dark-brown.
The gold-tone bridge and rivets compliment the tortoise beautifully.
The nose pads are in good condition and make the sunglasses incredibly comfortable.
There are several hallmarks on the interior of each arm. The marks on the right arm read "Bausch & Lomb, Ray-Ban, U.S.A.".
A small white mark on the interior of the left arm reads "W1117"; this is the style number.
The sunglasses come in their original leather case which features a bright, gold colored mark on the exterior that reads "Ray-Ban, 100% UV Protection, Sunglasses by Bausch & Lomb". The mark is a little worn but the case is in excellent condition otherwise.
Black velvet lining on the interior helps prevent scratching to the frames and lenses.
There is a tiny bit of verdigris on each silver-tone hinge and one or two barely-noticeable surface scratches on the lenses. Overall, these shades remain in great vintage condition.
