We are so thrilled to offer these fantastic vintage Ray-Ban W1909 Diamond Hard sunglasses.
They feature the more unusual round lens (popular in the 80s) and have incredibly delicate millegraine all around the lenses and bridge.
The lenses included the classic Ray-Ban logo on the right lens along with a small diamond mark; the Bausch and Lomb "BL" has been carefully etched into the sides of each lens.
The diamond hard line was created for its lens durability to help prevent scratching.
The sunglasses feature 24K gold electroplate Arista frames.
On the reverse of the bridge, you can see that "B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A." has been clearly stamped while the right celluloid ear pad features a mark reading, "W1909 YQAW CE".
These shades are in excellent shape and just perfect for any style making a great retro statement.
Measurements: lens 1 7/8" by 1 ½", face 5 ¼" by 1 ½", bridge ¾", ears 5 1/8", case 6 ¾" by 2 ½" by 1 ½".
The lenses are flawless save for a couple really little pocks on the inside of the lenses that are not in the line of sight.
The frame has no discoloration and no scratches to speak of. Both the ear and nose pieces are clear and in good condition.
