This is a stunning antique drawer-pull made of substantial solid brass.
A large threaded screw on the reverse of the piece would have allowed it to attach flat to a door or drawer while the upper loop jutted out ever so slightly to create a handle.
The piece is cast in remarkable detail and boasts a distinctly "Bacchanalian" motif. Languid grapes and grape leaves dance around a serene face at the center.
This is further embellished by a draping swag of cloth at the bottom.
There is a rich patina that covers the piece while allowing the original golden-colored brass to shine through. It remains in excellent antique condition.
This would be the perfect accent to a restored cabinet or on its own as a display piece.
