Dating from the 1960s, this vintage umbrella is as retro-chic as they come. It has great retro style and wonderful, bright colors. We select the ones that have the prettiest colors with personality and in good condition. This one fit the bill on all counts.
The shade is printed with a mod pattern of navy-blue and mustard-yellow dots with yellow and white stripes.
It exhibits one tiny light stain but it is in otherwise fantastic condition. A thin matching band with a snap closure keeps the pleats neat when the umbrella is closed.
The stretchers, ribs, shaft and finial (or "ferrule" as they are called with umbrellas) are all silver colored and are in great condition; they exhibit very little wear and keep the shade securely open.
There is a gorgeous crooked handle at the end of the shaft; it's made of translucent olive-green Lucite with coloring to resemble tortoise shell.
A small silver-colored ball chain runs through a hole in the handle, giving you a perfect handle for carrying your fabulous vintage umbrella.
Overall, this beauty is in great condition. These make great display pieces hung on a wall with the umbrella open. It makes for a bold splash of color with architectural detail
