Since its founding in 1946 to the end of production in 1964, the Renoir Company produced some of the world's most elegant and unique jewelry.
By playing up a modern aesthetic and using only the finest copper, the Renoir name came to synonymous with contemporary glamor.
This fantastic vintage set from Renoir features a belt, earrings and cuff. Each piece boasts an extraordinary, bright copper finish and amazing linear design.
The belt features a diagonal striped pattern; it remains mostly rigid but can be bent slightly to accommodate the waist. A really interesting buckle holds the belt in place, allowing for some adjustability. The end of the belt, as well as the detachable buckle are clearly stamped with the classic "©Renoir" hallmark.
It remains in very good vintage condition, showing only minor scratching. Each earring echoes the diagonal theme, just a bit smaller.
Each provides a classic hinge clip on the reverse where you will also see the "©Renoir" hallmark.
These also exhibit some minor scratching and darkening on the reverse though, overall, they also remain in very good vintage condition.
Finally, the cuff boasts the most unusual aesthetic, featuring metallic stripes sloping in various directions. This makes for a highly modern, tactile appeal.
Though each piece features a Capron finish, the bracelet features some minor scratching on the exterior and darkening on the interior, though it remains as gorgeous as ever.
As you can see, the cuff boasts the "©Renoir" hallmark on the exterior as well, though it is slightly worn.
The cuff bracelet is amazing. It is a wonderful style and the geometric design along with the copper and sheen just make it fabulous!!
It fits really well and has a dramatic, yet understated look.
Each piece is wonderful on its own, but as a set, it is over the top.
