Here is a fabulous vintage hat made of absolutely decadent genuine Angora wool. From the downy coat of the Angora rabbit, Angora wool is heavenly-soft and pure-luxe.
This fun hat dates from the 1940s and boasts a unique shape.
The ever-so-slightly rounded crown expands seamlessly into a wide brim.
As you can see, the exterior of the hat is embellished with four gigantic satin bows in the most adorable shade of baby-pink. There is some minor fraying at the ends of the ribbons.
Each little bow is held in place by a narrow band of Angora.
A small, stiff brim on the underside of the hat will keep in place with the help of a few bobby pins or a hatpin here and there.
The brim is lined with a combination of pink satin and ecru grosgrain.
There are a few exposed threads on the interior of the hat and it shows some very minor wear. However, this beauty remains in great vintage condition.
It's certainly a fun and unique hat that will look spectacular in your collection.
