The hat is characterized by a simple fuchsia cap made of the highest-quality wool.

Decadent black jersey cascades from the underside and culminates in an organ-pleated bow at the back.

There is a space between the cap and bow at the back perfect for a bun or ponytail.

The jersey is further embellished by dozens of shiny beaded accents that give the hat great texture and sparkle

Inside, you will find several original fabric labels, the first of which reads "Original Model, G. Howard Hodge, New York".

The label adjacent to this one reads "Reproduction Autoritée De Paulette, 63 Av Franklin D. Roosevelt, Paris".

This label indicates that the hat is an "Authorized Reproduction" of an original G. Howard Hodge design.

Finally, an imprinted manufacturer's mark on the underside of the crown reads "Flechats, Body Made in France".

The exterior of the pink cap shows some minor wear and a few minor indentations, though this hat remains in great vintage condition overall.
